PRIVACY & USE
Your note stays with you.
Your personal notes stay on your device. Public reports are submitted only when you choose. Usage analytics are optional.
Memory and optional saved notes
Inputs remain in page memory until you choose Save on this device. Reloading or returning through browser history starts a fresh form; saved notes remain available to resume. We use one namespaced localStorage key for up to 10 records: code, selected response, steps, device times, snapshot ID and the original generated text. No account identifiers are collected.
The browser profile is the boundary, not a private account. Other people using it can read saved notes. Clear individual records or confirm Clear saved notes to remove our key only. Clear personal note resets the current form, not saved records. Browser settings can also clear site data. Storage can be blocked, full or damaged; the page reports failure instead of claiming a save.
Switching languages
A home-page language click can temporarily put the current form in a separate sessionStorage key for the same tab. The matching destination consumes and removes it; it expires after five minutes. Private data is never put in the URL. If this handoff fails, navigation pauses with a save/download recovery message. Direct page navigation does not transfer an unsaved form.
Copying, downloads and sharing
Copy buttons write only the chosen text and do not read your clipboard. Downloads are generated locally. We can confirm a download request, not that your device saved the file. Export saved text to keep its original evidence context. Deleting notes cannot erase downloads or clipboard contents.
Public code links contain only an allowlisted code parameter. Public summaries contain that code, public status, source-check time and source links. They exclude your response, steps and personal timestamps. Buttons copy text; they never post or send it. Localhost links are not public website links.
Hosting and optional analytics
Cloudflare serves this site and processes network data needed for delivery and security. Only after you allow analytics, GA4 and ShipSolo-hosted Plausible measure public page visits. Analytics never reads personal note fields, backups or saved records; advertising features are disabled. The dedicated private workbench does not load analytics. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to withdraw consent; browser settings can remove existing analytics cookies. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected.
Optional public reports
Only the separate Reports page submits data, after an explicit click. It sends a code and success/rejection choice or a suggested code and public HTTPS source, plus a random browser identifier. Aggregates and pending suggestions are visible on the site; identifiers are not. No workbench notes, backups, files or account details are sent. Public reports are stored in a dedicated Cloudflare SQLite Durable Object. IP-derived hourly hashes are temporarily used to limit abuse. No email delivery is configured.
Local backup and old-preview migration
A file you choose, or text you paste into Restore, is read only in this page. No file is uploaded. JSON backups and supported original TXT notes are checked before a preview appears. Nothing enters saved storage until you confirm. Exact duplicates are skipped; conflicting IDs, more than ten notes, damaged storage or a list changed after preview stop the import without overwriting it.
Ports 4204 and 4304 have different browser storage. To migrate, download saved original TXT from 4204, then preview and confirm import at 4304. Imported text is kept unchanged. A backup exports saved notes only, including their private context; unsaved form edits are excluded. Keep backup files private.
Unsaved changes and printing
Changing codes, clearing the form, resuming another note or following a same-tab link prompts you to keep editing, save, or discard unsaved changes. Browser reload/close warnings depend on browser support. There is no automatic save. Language switching from either the homepage or workbench carries the form through the same five-minute, one-use private handoff.
Ordinary printing hides personal fields, saved notes and import text. The explicit Print my current note button includes the current personal response, checklist and observation context. This is a self-report, not a verified redemption. Check the browser print preview before printing or saving a PDF. The site cannot erase printouts, backups or exported files.
Optional context and pasted-code inspection
Optional device, menu comparison and up to 280 characters of observed text are private note fields. Explicitly saving, downloading or copying a personal record includes them; public sharing does not. One-time language handoff carries them only in this tab. The separate pasted-code inspector field is never put into saved records, exports, handoff or links, and is cleared on a fresh page visit.
