Compare damage, survival and time in one familiar encounter. Slow kills suggest a weapon check; early defeats suggest a defense check.

After forging, open the equipment inventory and check the matching weapon, helmet or armor slot. Verify the equipped indicator instead of assuming the new piece replaced the old one.
Keep a reversible comparison
